Vinayak Stones

If you look for Building Number 275/27 in Narsingh Pura, you'll find our yard. Vinayak Stones is a small operation in the Johns Ganj area. We deal with all kinds of stone slabs and blocks for building work. It’s heavy, tiring work, and our hands are always rough from handling the raw material. We’ve got different types of stone sitting out in the open yard for people to see. Sometimes the colors vary a bit because that’s just how natural stone comes out of the ground. We don't try to hide the little flaws; we just show what we have in stock. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We spend most of our time moving heavy pieces around with the old crane or cutting slabs to size for whoever walks in. Johns Ganj is a busy part of town, so there is always noise and traffic outside our door. We've been here for a while and most of the local builders know where we are. We don't have a big sales team or a glossy catalog to show off. We just point to the slabs we have in the yard. Some days are slow, and other days everyone wants their stone at the same time. We just do our best to get the cuts right for them. It’s a messy business with all the water and stone dust, but we like it. We are just regular people working here every day.
