Vinayak Provision Store

Our little shop, Vinayak Provision Store, is tucked away in Nagina Bagh on Kabir Marg. It is the kind of place where the shelves are always packed with bags of flour, lentils, and different types of spices that people need for their kitchens every day. The mornings are usually the most hectic because everyone is stopping by for milk or bread before they head off to work. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the routine stays pretty much the same. You get used to the smell of open grain sacks and the sound of the ceiling fan humming in the corner. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road for a bit while we unload crates, which can be a headache for the neighbors, but they are used to it. We keep track of things in a simple notebook mostly. It is crowded in here, especially when more than three people are trying to stand inside at once. Kabir Marg has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of that daily life. We don't have fancy lights or big displays, just the basic stuff that families in Nagina Bagh use. Often we spend time just chatting with the regulars about the weather or how the prices of oil keep changing. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from dawn until the street lights come on.
