Trupti Marbles

We've been here on Makarana Road for quite some time now. Being right across from Shri Nath Marbles makes us easy to find if you're driving through Kishangarh. It's a busy spot but we like it here. My family started this because there's so much stone in this area. We have stacks of slabs everywhere and it gets dusty, but that's just part of the job. People come in looking for stuff for their floors or kitchens. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything, just the yard and the office where we drink tea and talk to customers. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather's too hot, but we keep going. Working with marble isn't easy, it's heavy and breaks if you aren't careful. We've learned a lot about the different blocks over the years. Some have more veins, some are whiter. We just try to show people what we have in stock today. It’s mostly local folks or contractors who know the road well. Dealing with the heat in Rajasthan while moving heavy stone is tough work. We close up when the sun goes down usually. There’s always noise from the other shops around us too. It’s just how it is on this stretch of road. We've got a small crew here, mostly guys who have been with us since the start. We know the stones well enough to tell you which ones are sturdy and which ones might be tricky to cut.
