Suresh Chand General Store

My shop is right there in the HMT Industrial Area on Beawar Road. It is a dusty part of town with all the trucks and work going on nearby. I spend a lot of time just rearranging boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. People come in for matches, snacks, or maybe some biscuits for their break. It is not a large place, just enough room for the essentials. Sometimes the heat is a bit much, so we have the fan going all day long. I have seen the area change a bit over the years, more buildings going up and more traffic on the road. It is a lot of work keeping things stocked up because people always need something at the last minute. We keep the pulses and the oils in the back so the front stays clear for customers. Sometimes the morning rush is a bit crazy with everyone heading to their shifts. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the counter while I wait for the next person to walk in. It is a quiet life in a loud part of the city. Most of the people who come here are workers who just want to get their stuff and get back to what they were doing. I like it that way, straightforward and honest. The store is just a part of the landscape here and we keep the doors open for everyone.
