Surendra General Store

Surendra General Store is located in Adarsh Nagar on Madan Gopal Road. It’s a quiet enough street compared to some of the bigger markets, but we still stay plenty busy. We started this shop because we saw a need for a local spot where people could get their daily necessities without going too far. It’s a small operation, mostly just family helping out. We stock all the usual things like tea, flour, and household cleaners. The shelves are mostly wooden and old, but they hold everything just fine. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. Most people just walk over from their houses nearby. It’s nice to be part of Adarsh Nagar. We’ve seen the kids grow up and start coming in to buy things for their own homes. The shop stays open late sometimes if we see people still walking about. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big displays. We just want to make sure the milk is fresh and the flour is in stock. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dirty from the rain outside, but we sweep it up when we can. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we enjoy the daily routine of opening the shutters and setting things out. Madan Gopal Road is a good place for a shop like ours, and we feel right at home here.
