Shyam Marbles

We have been working out of this spot at G-106 on Harmada Road for a long time now. Kishangarh is a busy place for stone, and our yard in Phase-3 is no different. It is mostly just us moving heavy slabs around and trying to keep the dust off the samples. We don’t have a fancy air-conditioned office or a team of sales people in suits. Most days, it is just about showing people what came in from the quarries this week. Some pieces have better grains than others, and we just tell people the truth about what we see. The work is physically hard, and by the end of the day, everything is covered in a fine layer of white powder. We usually sit out front and have some tea when it gets quiet. People from all over come to Madanganj looking for marble, and we just try to help them find enough square feet for their project without making it complicated. We don't really do big advertisements. Most of our visitors are people who were just driving down the road and saw the stacks. Sometimes the inventory is a bit low if the transport is delayed, but we usually have something that works. It is a simple life here, just dealing with stone and making sure the measurements are right for whoever walks into the yard. We stay open until the sun goes down most days.
