Shri Ram General Store

Our shop is on Dhola Bhata Road, right in the heart of the Dhola Bhatta area. It is a simple setup, nothing too complicated. We have got the basics that everyone needs for their kitchen and home. Most days are pretty much the same, opening the shutters in the morning and sweeping out the dust. The road outside can get a bit busy with bikes and people walking to the market. We keep things like tea leaves, sugar, and cooking oil right where they are easy to reach. There is a small counter where I sit and talk to whoever comes in. Sometimes my brother helps me out when I have to go and get more supplies from the wholesale market. The walls have a few posters on them and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, but it works fine for us. People around here are friendly and they do not mind waiting a minute if I am busy with another customer. We try to keep a bit of everything so nobody has to go all the way into the main town for a small bottle of shampoo or a packet of biscuits. It has been our family business for a while and we just keep it going one day at a time. The shop is not big, but it has got everything that matters for the daily routine in this neighborhood.
