Shree Nath Marble

You’ll find us out in Village Roopangarh, which is part of the Kishangarh Tehsil in the Ajmer district. It is a bit quieter out here than it is in the main Madanganj mandi, and we actually prefer it that way. There is more room to breathe and you don’t have the constant roar of traffic right in your ear all day. We have been operating out of Roopangarh for a while now, and we have a good relationship with the local people. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages, so it feels more like a big family than a workplace. We handle all sorts of marble and stone that comes through this part of Rajasthan. The pace of life is a little slower, but the work is still hard and keeps us busy. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and our afternoons loading up the trailers for long hauls across the state. Sometimes the roads out here can be a bit bumpy, but the drivers know the ways well. We don't put on any acts for our visitors. We just show them the yard and tell them what’s what. If you want to see how the stone looks in the natural light away from the city smoke, this is the place to come. We usually have some cold water ready and a place to sit in the shade for a bit. It’s just how things are done in this part of Ajmer.
