About Shree Krishna Sweets & Namkin – Food & Beverages in Ajmer
We have our shop in Ghati Ganj where we sell both sweets and namkin. It’s a mix of salty and sweet things, which seems to work well for the people around here. My family has been doing this for a long time. The smell of frying snacks usually fills the air by mid-morning. We make the namkin in big batches so it stays crunchy. Ghati Ganj is a place where people are always on the move, so we sell a lot of small bags of snacks. The shop is a bit cramped because we have so many different jars and trays everywhere. We don't have a polished look. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to get to it. We use the same old recipes that have been used for generations. It’s simple food. We don't try to be fancy or different. If you want something to eat with your tea, you come to us. We have a small table for the accounts and a couple of fans to keep the air moving. It gets really hot in the summer with the fryers going, but that's the job. We know most of our customers by name. It’s a friendly place, even when it’s loud and busy. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day. There is always more namkin to fry and more sweets to put out on the counter.
