Shree Jodhpur Sweets

Shree Jodhpur Sweets is situated on Prithviraj Marg. This street has a lot of history and many different types of businesses. We have been part of this street for several years now. Our shop is not very large, but we make it work. The counter is right at the front so we can talk to people as they pass by. Shree Jodhpur Sweets is a name that people recognize in this neighborhood. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just want to make enough to keep the lights on and pay the bills. The kitchen is tucked away in the back. It’s a tight space and it gets quite humid when we are boiling sugar. Prithviraj Marg is always noisy with the sound of traffic and people talking. Sometimes we sit on a stool out front when things are slow. We watch the world go by and wait for the next customer. The shop has blue tiles on the walls that we put up years ago. They are a bit cracked in places. We don't have a lot of help, so we do most of the cleaning and heavy lifting ourselves. It’s a lot of hours, but it’s a steady job. People know where to find us on Prithviraj Marg. We don't need a map or a fancy sign to tell them we are here. We just stay open and wait for them.
