Shree Hari Marble

Our place, Shree Hari Marble, is right along Kishangarh Road. It’s a good location because so many people pass by on their way into town. We keep a variety of marble out in the yard so anyone passing can see what’s available. It’s mostly just us here, making sure things stay in order and answering the phone when it rings. We don’t use any big words or fancy talk to describe the stone. It’s marble, it’s heavy, and it’s been in the ground for a long time before it got here. Some pieces have more veins in them and some are more plain, it just depends on what the earth gave up that day. We try to keep the pieces sorted by size so it’s easier for people to browse. The yard gets a bit muddy when it rains, so we have to be careful with the trucks then. We’ve been working on this road for quite a while now. Most of our customers are just local families looking to fix up their floors or maybe a shop owner needing something sturdy. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable one where you can get your stone and go. There’s usually a pot of tea going if you happen to stop by at the right time. We just take things as they come and try to be helpful. It’s not a complicated life, but we like being out here on the road every day.
