Shiv Bhole Sweets

Over here on Ramganj Diggi Tank Road, we run Shiv Bhole Sweets. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to compete with the big shops in the city center. We just want to provide something decent for the people in our neighborhood. The morning starts early with the milk delivery, and from there, it’s just one task after another. We make a variety of things, but we mostly stick to what we’re good at. You won't find anything too experimental here. We like the old-fashioned tastes that people grew up with. The shop is a bit tucked away, so we don't get too much random traffic. It’s mostly the same faces every day, which is nice. We know how much sugar someone likes or if they prefer their snacks a bit extra spicy. There’s no big management team behind us, just a few of us working together. Sometimes we get behind on things, but we catch up eventually. The floor gets a bit dusty from the road outside, but we sweep it out a few times a day. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just make sweets, sell them, and go home to our families. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’re happy with where we are and what we do for the local community.
