Sharma Kirana Bhandar

Sharma Kirana Bhandar is located on Beawar Road in Kekri. It’s a straightforward shop right on the main road. Being on the road means we get a lot of people passing through, as well as the locals who live nearby. We focus on kirana items, which means we sell flour, grains, spices, and other cooking essentials. We keep things in large bags and weigh them out for customers. The shop is a bit dusty because of the traffic on Beawar Road, but that’s something we just deal with every day. We have some metal shelves and a big wooden counter where we do all the weighing and billing. We don't use any fancy technology, just a simple scale and a pen. The building is basic, with a shutter that we pull down at night. We don't have any advertising or big colorful posters. People come to us because they know we have what they need for their kitchen. It’s often just one of us here, and we know the regulars who stop by on their way home. The summer heat in Kekri can be quite tough, so the shop stays a bit dark to keep it cool inside. We just focus on getting the right stock at the right price so our customers are happy enough to come back. It's a simple life and a simple business.
