Shanti Nath Store

This store is located on Masuda Road in the Parbatpura area. We have been sitting in this same spot for many years now. It's a basic shop where we sell everyday items that people use in their homes. Most of the people living around this neighborhood come to us for their daily needs. We keep flour, cooking oil, spices, and some snacks for the kids. The road gets very busy with big trucks sometimes because of where we are situated. We start our day quite early to set everything up and sweep the front. It is not a very big shop but we manage to fit a lot of different things inside the racks. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when new boxes arrive, but we usually know exactly where everything is kept. If you are passing by on Masuda Road, you will easily see our small sign. We don't do any big advertising or posters. People just find us by walking past. It's a very simple business. My father started it a long time ago and now I handle most of the daily work. We talk to the neighbors and keep track of what specific brands they like to buy. It's quiet in the afternoons when it's very hot outside. We take a small break then to eat and rest. Then in the evening, it gets busy with people again. We don't have fancy glass displays or bright lights. Just old shelves and wooden counters. It works for the locals.
