Santosh Sweets Corner

If you find yourself on Nasirabad Road near Adarsh Nagar, you’ve probably seen our shop. It’s called Santosh Sweets Corner, though most people just call it the sweets shop near the corner. We aren't trying to be anything big. It’s just us here, making what we know how to make. The mornings are usually spent boiling milk and getting the syrup ready for whatever we’re cooking that day. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit tight when there’s a crowd. We mostly serve the people living nearby and the folks who work in the local offices. We don't have a huge menu, just the staples that people around here expect. Sometimes the chai is more popular than the sweets, depending on the weather. We keep the doors open all day, and there’s always someone behind the counter ready to pack something up. We don’t use any fancy packaging or anything like that. It’s just plain boxes and paper bags. It keeps the costs down for everyone. Dealing with the heat in the kitchen is part of the job, especially during the summer months. We've had the same few guys working here for years. We aren't looking to expand or open more branches. We just want to make sure the batch we make today is as good as the one yesterday. It’s a steady life. People stop, eat, and go about their day.
