Ritu Raj Fast Food & Juice Corner

Kishangarh can get pretty hot in the summer, so having a place for juice seemed like a good idea. We’ve been running this corner for a bit now. It’s mostly just stools and a counter where we blend things up. We do some quick food too, the kind of stuff you can eat standing up or take with you. The fruit arrives early in the morning, and I spend a lot of time peeling and prepping before the first customers show up. The blender makes a lot of noise, so it’s hard to hear people sometimes when they’re ordering their drinks. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy menus or anything like that. Just what’s in season and whatever snacks we have ready. The floor gets a bit sticky from the sugar, no matter how much I mop it during the day. We get a lot of younger people coming by after school or work. It’s a small space, so it feels crowded even if there are only five or six people waiting. I usually have the radio playing in the background, but you can barely hear it over the traffic. Sometimes we run out of ice in the afternoons, which is a real pain, but we do our best to keep things cold. It’s just a basic spot to grab a drink and a bite. Nothing fancy about it, just a local shop in the middle of town for anyone passing through.
