Rajkumar Sweets Shop is right by the Kishangarh Bus Stand Road. If you’ve ever been to a bus stand, you know how chaotic it can be. There are always buses honking and conductors yelling out destinations. We are right in the middle of all that. It’s a fast-paced place to work. Most of our customers are travelers who are in a big hurry. They want something they can eat quickly while waiting for their bus or something they can take with them for the ride. We don’t have time for long conversations or fancy service. We just get the food on the plate or in the box as fast as we can. The kitchen is always running because we have to keep up with the constant flow of people. It’s very noisy and can get quite stressful when three buses arrive at the same time. We make a lot of samosas and tea because that’s what people want the most. The tea kettle is almost never empty. Our furniture is just basic benches and tables, nothing special. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that struggle to keep the place cool. It’s a tough environment, but it’s our living. We just keep our heads down and serve the people who are passing through Kishangarh. That’s pretty much our whole day, every day, from sunrise until the last bus leaves.
