R. M. Marble

R. M. Marble is based in the third phase of the RIICO Industrial Area on Makhana Road. This part of town is strictly for work, so there are not many shops or fancy places around us. It is mostly just warehouses and factories. We have been here for a good number of years now, and the landscape has changed quite a bit. Our space is mostly taken up by large pieces of marble that we keep organized in the yard. It takes a lot of effort to keep track of everything, especially when new loads arrive. We do not have a fancy reception area or anyone to serve coffee. Usually, if you come by, you will find us out in the back checking on the workers or looking at the quality of a new batch of stone. The road outside can get pretty rough with all the heavy trucks, so it is a bit of a bumpy ride to get here. We are just regular people doing a regular job. We don’t go in for big promises or corporate talk. If we have the stone you want, we show it to you. If we don’t, we tell you straight. It is a simple way of doing business that seems to work for us. The days are long and the work is physical, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the trucks leave fully loaded and ready to go.
