Prem General Store

Prem General Store is right in the heart of Bajrang Garh. It’s a lively place to be. We have been running this shop for a long time, and the building is older than I am. We sell basic groceries and household items. There isn't much room to move around inside because we try to fit as much stock as possible on the shelves. You’ll find everything from washing powder to pickles here. The street outside is always full of activity, with people going up towards the temple or heading into the city. I spend most of my day sitting on a wooden bench near the entrance. The floor is made of stone and stays relatively cool even when it’s boiling outside. We don't use any computers; everything is done by hand. If a customer is short a few rupees, we just catch up next time. That’s the way things work in Bajrang Garh. We don't have any fancy brochures or a website. If you need something, you just come and ask. The ceiling fans rattle a bit, and the shelves are a mix of wood and metal. We keep the daily essentials in the front and the bulkier stuff in the back. It’s a simple setup for a simple neighborhood. We open early and close when the street starts to empty out. It’s just a regular shop run by regular people who know the value of a hard day's work.
