Pooja Marbles

If you go to Silora Village, near the Kishangarh Post Office, you will find us at Pooja Marbles. This whole Kishangarh Tehsil is famous for marble, so we are right in the heart of the action. Our yard is usually full of slabs of all different sizes and colors. We spend a lot of time out there in the Kishangarh sun, moving stone around and making sure everything is counted correctly. It’s a big district for this kind of work, and there are many people doing the same thing, but we just focus on our own little corner in Silora. We aren't the type to have a fancy website or a lot of glossy photos. We just have the stone sitting there for anyone to see. The work is dusty and loud, especially when the trucks are coming in from the quarries. We’ve lived and worked in this village for a long time, so we know how things work around here. It’s a lot of physical labor, and your hands get rough from handling the marble all day. We just try to keep things simple. If someone needs marble for a project, they come down to the village and look at what we’ve got. We talk to them, show them the pieces, and that’s about it. No big speeches or complicated deals, just plain stone business in a busy part of the country where marble is everything.
