Pankj Sweet Mart

Pankj Sweet Mart is our small business located in Nala Bazar. This market is very old and the lanes are quite narrow. You can barely fit two people side by side in some parts of the street. Our shop is right in the middle of all that chaos. We have been at this address for many years. The building is old and the wooden beams in the ceiling are visible. Pankj Sweet Mart is a name we’ve kept through the years. We don't have much space for customers to sit down, so most of them just stand outside on the street. It gets very busy in the evenings when everyone is finishing work. The smell of the sweets usually brings people in. We don't use any fancy packaging. We just use simple bags and boxes. Nala Bazar has its own character and we are just a small part of it. We don't have a computer or a digital cash register. We do all the math in our heads or on a piece of paper. The floor is made of old bricks that have worn down over time. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s our place. We work hard from morning till night. We don't have a boss telling us what to do. We just know what needs to be done to keep Pankj Sweet Mart going. It’s a simple life in a busy market.
