Om Chips Industries

We set up Om Chips Industries on Indian Overseas Bank Street, right on Punkra Road here in Madangarh. This part of District Ajmer is known for its stone work, so it seemed like the right place to be. We mostly deal with stone chips used for various construction projects. Our setup is pretty basic. We have the crushers and the sorting areas where we spend most of our time. It gets quite noisy during the day when the machines are running, but that's just part of the routine. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to provide what the local builders need. The street can get a bit crowded with tractors and trucks, but we've lived here long enough to know everyone's schedule. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time maintaining the equipment than actually running it, but that's the reality of working with stone. We handle everything ourselves, from looking at the raw material coming in to making sure the chips are the right size before they go out. It’s a lot of physical labor and being out in the elements. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything. If you come by, you'll likely find us near the machines or in the small shed we use for paperwork. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset.
