Nogiya General Store

Nogiya General Store is our small business located in the Dorai area, near the HMT Industrial Area on Beawar Road. We are a bit on the outskirts, so we provide a much-needed service for the people living in this patch of town. My wife and I run the place together, and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. We sell everything from cooking oil and grains to soap and small toys for children. The shop is part of our house, so we are almost always available if someone knocks on the door. It’s a very modest setup with old wooden shelves that we built ourselves. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name painted on the wall. The fridge we have for cold drinks is quite old and struggles a bit when it’s really hot outside, but it gets the job done. In the evenings, the area gets a bit more lively as people return from their jobs in the industrial zone. We have a small lamp that we hang outside to show that we are still open for business. There is no computer here, just a simple calculator and a notebook for tracking our daily sales. We try to keep the prices fair since we know our neighbors aren't wealthy people. It’s a simple life, and we don't have any big ambitions to expand or change things. We just want to keep the shop running smoothly and serve our local community.
