New Gujrat Sweets

We have been running New Gujrat Sweets for quite a while now. If you walk down Nala Bazar, you will see our shop right there among all the other businesses. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most days it is just me and a few workers handling everything from cleaning the floors to packing the boxes. We don’t have any big machines, just the basic stuff you need to make sweets. It gets quite hot in the back during the summer, but we are used to it by now. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first opened, but the shop stays pretty much the same. People come in mostly for their daily needs or when they have guests over. We don't do anything flashy. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky when things are busy, but we clean up when we can. Our supplies come in every morning from the local market nearby. We try to finish everything by evening so nothing sits around too long. I usually stay until we close the shutters at night. It’s hard work, but it is what my family has always done. We don't really think about growing big or opening more branches. Just keeping this one going is enough for us. It is a quiet life in a loud part of town. We just keep it moving.
