Nakoda General Store

We are located on Ramner Road in Kishangarh. The shop is called Nakoda General Store. It is a pretty straightforward place where we keep the essentials. The road outside can get a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time with a duster in our hands. The interior of Nakoda General Store is mostly filled with tall shelves that go all the way to the top. We have a ladder we use when someone wants something from the high spots. It is a bit of a workout going up and down. Ramner Road is a main path for many, so we get a good mix of people. Some are in a rush and others want to stay and talk about the weather. We have a small bench outside where older men sometimes sit for a bit. The shop doesn't have any big windows, so we keep the door wide open to let the light in. It’s a simple life, just managing the stock and making sure we don’t run out of the popular items. We don't use any complicated marketing or anything, just the name on the board above the door. It’s just us here in Kishangarh, doing what needs to be done to keep the store running day after day. It gets dark early in the winter so we turn the lights on by five to see the stock.
