Mohit General Store

Mohit General Store is located right by the Bus Stand on Kharwa Road in Masuda. It is a small town, but this road gets a fair amount of traffic from people traveling between different villages. Our store has been a fixture here for a while, sitting right where the buses stop and start their routes. It is nothing flashy to look at, just a regular brick building with a lot of stuff shoved inside. We carry the usual things you’d expect—cooking supplies, snacks for the kids, and small bits and pieces for the house. The mornings are usually our busiest time because everyone is trying to get their shopping done at the bus stand before the heat of the day sets in across Masuda. We keep a fan going behind the counter, but it doesn't do much when the sun is really beating down on Kharwa Road. Sometimes we run out of certain items faster than the delivery truck can bring them, which can be a bit of a headache for us, but we manage somehow. People around here are patient for the most part. They know us and we know them by name. It’s the kind of place where you can come in and just talk for a minute while we bag up your groceries. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing the sign as they walk to catch their bus. It’s a practical little business.
