Mini Mart Fancy And General Store

We called it Mini Mart Fancy And General Store because we try to have a little bit of everything for the ladies and the kids too. It is located in Dhola Bhatta on the main Dhola Bhata Road. Besides the regular groceries like dal and rice, we have some of the fancy items like hair clips, small gifts, and ribbons. It makes the shop look a bit more colorful than your average general store. The shelves are quite high and sometimes I have to use a small stool to reach the stuff at the top. The neighborhood is always busy and there is always someone popping in for something they forgot to buy. We have a lot of glass jars on the counter filled with different kinds of candies which the children love. The lighting is not the best in the back corners, but we know where everything is kept. It is a small business and we put in a lot of hours to make sure we do not run out of the popular items. During festival times, we get really busy with people looking for decorative things or special ingredients for sweets. It is a lot of standing around and talking, but it is good to be part of the community here. The shop is just a small place but it is full of life most of the time. We just do our best to keep the neighborhood supplied.
