Mazdoor Provision House

Nala Bazar Railway Station Road is a loud place because of the trains and all the people traveling through. Mazdoor Provision House is right in the middle of all that. We get people who are just passing by and also the locals who live nearby. The shop is mostly full of basic supplies that people need in a hurry. We have a lot of heavy sacks that we have to move around, which is good exercise but it makes your back sore by the end of the day. Mazdoor Provision House has been on Railway Station Road for a while, and the walls are covered with different lists and notes we've scribbled over the months. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have much room for sitting down, so we are on our feet most of the time. Sometimes the noise from the station is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. It is a simple way to earn a living. We keep the inventory as full as we can, though space is always a problem. The front of the store is usually crowded with crates and boxes waiting to be put away. It is just a busy, dusty place where we work every day to keep things moving for the people in Nala Bazar. I usually get a tea from the stall next door when I get a break for a few minutes.
