Bohra Hardware

We're over in Naya Bazar, right in the heart of Ajmer. The shop is at Baluramji Ka Nohara. It's easy to spot because the Union Bank of India is close by. We keep all the basic hardware stuff. Nuts, bolts, tools, the usual things a person might need for a house project. It's not a huge place, but we try to keep the shelves full. Sometimes it's hard to find a specific screw in the boxes, but we usually know where everything is. The bazar is always crowded, especially on weekends. We open up in the morning and stay until the sun goes down. Most of our customers are locals who've lived here for years. We get some workers too, looking for specific bits for their jobs. It’s a bit of a dusty spot, but that’s hardware for you. We don't spend money on fancy signs or anything. Just the store and the items inside. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive from the suppliers, so we have to tell people to come back the next day. It’s just how it goes in a small business. We like the location here because it’s central. People can walk over while they are doing their other shopping in Naya Bazar. We've seen a lot of changes in this district over the years, but the hardware needs stay pretty much the same. It’s steady work and we keep busy with the small things that keep a house running.
