Marothiya Mishtan Bhandar is right there at Masuda Teja Chowk. If you know the area, you know it gets quite loud with all the bikes and people crossing through the intersection. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a long time. It’s mostly just us working behind the counter and one or two guys in the back helping with the heavy lifting of the milk drums. The chowk is a good place to be because people are always passing by. We see a lot of folks coming from the villages nearby or just heading home after work. Usually, we have the basic sweets ready by mid-morning. We don’t do any of that modern fusion stuff you see in big cities now. We just stick to what we know how to make. The floors get sticky sometimes, and we have to scrub them down every night after we close up the shutters. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. My hands are usually covered in flour or sugar by lunch. We don't really have a menu or anything written down. People just look at what is fresh in the tray and point. It works fine for us. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, like when it’s too humid and the sugar doesn't set right, but we just manage. We are just a local shop trying to do things the old way without any fuss or fancy talking to attract people.
