Mangal Sweets Shop

We’ve been here at Nala Bazar on Ramner Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get their day started. Mangal Sweets Shop isn't a big place, but we manage. Usually, we start early, maybe around five or six, just to get the milk boiling and the pans cleaned up. It gets pretty hot in the back when the stoves are going full blast, but that’s just how it is. We make mostly local stuff that people around here like. Nothing fancy or too complicated. Sometimes we run out of things by the afternoon if it’s a festival day, and that makes people a bit annoyed, but we can only cook so much at a time. The counter is usually dusty by noon because of the traffic outside, so we’re always wiping things down. We see the same faces every day, mostly neighbors or people working in the other shops nearby. They come in for a quick bite or to pack something for their families. We don’t have any big signs or posters, just the stuff in the glass cases. It’s hard work, standing all day and dealing with the heat, but it keeps us busy. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting the food ready on time. Not much else to say really, we just stay here and do our work every single day.
