Being based in Kishangarh means we are right in the middle of everything when it comes to stone. Our place, Maloo Marbles Pvt. Ltd., is located at G-73 74 in the R.I.I.C.O. Industrial Area. If you know Madanganj, you know how busy it gets with all the marble trade happening every single day. We have a good amount of space here to keep our inventory. It is mostly slabs of all sizes piled up in rows. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations for the office because the real work happens out in the yard. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and looking over the loading schedules for the trucks. We have seen this industrial area change a lot over the years, with more buildings going up and more traffic on the roads. It’s a simple operation really. We get the stone in, we organize it, and then it goes out to whoever needs it for their home or office. There are plenty of us working here who have been doing this for decades. You get a feel for the stone after a while, knowing what is good and what isn't just by looking at it closely. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there, just trying to do a decent job every day. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. That’s our life here.
