You can find us over by Delhi Gate in the Kesarganj area. It’s an old part of town with narrow streets and lots of energy. Our shop has a simple sign and we keep the doors open from early morning until late at night. We don't believe in making things look more complicated than they are. We just take the flour, sugar, and ghee and make what we know how to make. The kitchen is always humming with the sound of the burners. We have a few regulars who come in every single morning for their breakfast snacks, and we know exactly what they want without them even saying it. That’s the nice thing about being in a place like Kesarganj. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city, just a reliable one for the people living near Delhi Gate. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard over the counter, but that’s just life in this neighborhood. We do everything ourselves, from cleaning the lentils to boxing up the final product. It’s honest work and it keeps our hands busy. We don’t have any fancy mission statements; we just want to make sure the food is ready when the customers walk through the door. It’s been our way for a long time and we don't plan on changing it.
