Mahalaxmi Traders

You’ll find Mahalaxmi Traders at number 7, right near the Pipali Balaji Mandir on Nasirabad Road. It’s a good spot because the ICICI ATM is right there on the main road, so people are always around. We spend our days inside the shop handling different trades. The Nasirabad Road is usually busy with people traveling into the city. The temple nearby brings in a lot of folks on certain days, so it can get quite lively. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place with a counter and some storage in the back. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We usually have a small fan going to keep the air moving. We deal with a lot of different people every day, from truck drivers to local residents. It's a lot of talk and a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we are constantly wiping down the counter and the products. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name and the address. It’s a simple way to make a living. We know most of the people who pass by and we usually have a word or two with the neighbors over tea.
