Shri Kundan Trading Company

Shri Kundan Trading Company is located right at No. 2 on Pushkar Road. It’s a convenient spot because we are directly opposite the police station, so everyone knows where that is. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shutters and getting the stock ready for the day. Trading is mostly about talking to people and keeping track of what’s coming in and going out. The road outside can get pretty loud during the day with all the bikes and cars passing by. We have a small desk where we do the paperwork and a bit of space for the items we sell. It’s a simple setup. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to chat for a minute while we’re working. We try to stay organized, but on busy days, things can get a bit cluttered. It’s just the way it goes when you’re moving goods around. The shop isn't very big, but it serves us well. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some days are slow and others we don't even have time to sit down for lunch. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the street gets a bit quieter. Being near the police station means it’s a safe area, which is nice for us. We don't have any big plans, just keeping the business running and helping the folks who walk through our door.
