If you are looking for Laxmi Ji General Store, we are located right in the HMT Industrial Area. It is a bit of a gritty spot, surrounded by places like Jakhad Tractor Parts along Beawar Road in Mangaliawas. Because of the location, many of our customers are workers from the factories or mechanics looking for a quick snack or some supplies. The air around here smells like grease and diesel most of the time. I opened the shop to provide the basics for the people working nearby who don't have time to go into the main town. We sell a lot of cigarettes, bottled water, and packaged snacks. It is not the kind of place where people linger; they usually grab what they need and head back to the workshop. I keep the shelves organized as best as I can, but the dust from the industrial area is a constant battle. The shop isn't very large, just a single room filled with whatever I think will sell. Sometimes a truck driver will pull over and ask for directions or a cold drink. I spend most of my time behind the small wooden counter. It gets loud with the sound of machinery and tractors passing by, but I have gotten used to it over the years. It is a practical business for a practical part of town.
