Krishna Marbles

Krishna Marbles is right on Harmara Road in Kishangarh. If you’ve ever been through this part of town, you know how busy it gets with all the marble trade. We have been operating from this yard for a good while. It’s mostly just a few of us and the stone slabs. Every morning we open up the gates and start looking over what came in from the quarries the night before. The dust is a permanent part of our lives here, so we don't really mind it anymore. We aren't some big corporate office with people in suits. We are just a local business. When people drive down Harmara Road looking for marble for their floors or stairs, they stop in and we show them what’s in the piles. It’s very straightforward. We don't have fancy brochures or sales pitches. We just write down what people need and try to get it loaded onto their trucks without making them wait too long. Kishangarh is a crowded place for this kind of work, but we just focus on our own yard. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years with more traffic and new shops. We stay open six days a week because there is always something to move. It’s physical work, shifting the slabs and making sure nothing gets cracked. That’s what we do every day.
