Krishna General Store

Krishna General Store has been sitting on Masuda Road in the HMT Industrial Area for a good bit of time. Working in an industrial zone means most of our visitors are workers or people passing through the factory area. It’s a lot of manual work keeping the place stocked. We have things people need during their shifts or for their homes afterward. The road gets quite busy with trucks and heavy vehicles going to the Masuda side. Inside the shop, it’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as possible. I usually sit near the counter by the door. Sometimes the fans don't work right when it's hot, but we manage. It isn't a flashy place with bright lights. We just keep the lights we need to see the labels on the jars. Most days follow the same routine. Stocking milk in the morning, then bread, and then the dry goods later on. I’ve seen the HMT Industrial Area change quite a bit over the years. Some shops closed, others opened, but we stayed put on Masuda Road. It feels good to see the same people every day. We don't do much advertising. People just see the sign and come in. If someone needs a specific brand of tea or salt, they usually find it here. It's just a basic shop run by local folks who know the area well. No big corporate rules here. That is how things are for us here.
