Komal Tour & Travels

Down in Dhan Mandi, right in the heart of Dargah Bazar, is where you will find Komal Tour & Travels. Since we are in the grain market area, things are always moving. There are sacks being moved and people bargaining all over the place. Our office is right in the middle of all that action. It is a small space, mostly filled with registers and some old calendars on the walls. We have been here in Ajmer for a long time. People coming to the Dargah often wander into the market and find us. We don't have any shiny signs or anything. It's just a place to come if you need a vehicle or a ticket. We spend our days mostly on the phone or talking to drivers. It gets dusty because of the market, so we are always cleaning the glass. It’s just how it is. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we sit outside on the bench when it’s not too hot. We don't try to be anything we aren't. If you need a trip organized, we just tell you what it costs and when it leaves. There isn't much more to it than that. It is a busy life, but we like being where the people are. The market has its own rhythm, and we are just a small part of it. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone is taken care of.
