We have been here at Dargah Bazar for a while now. Being inside Delhi Gate means things get pretty busy, especially with all the people visiting the Dargah Shareef every single day. It’s a tight spot but we manage to make it work. Most of our days involve just helping folks figure out where they need to go next. Sometimes it's just a car to the railway station, other times it's a longer trip out of town. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. It’s just us here in the middle of everything. If you walk past the gate, you'll see us. We know these streets like the back of our hand because we spend all day in them. Dealing with the crowds is just part of life here. We started out small and kept it that way. No big corporate talk, just regular work. People come in asking for directions or a ride and we do what we can to help. It gets loud and dusty in the bazar but that’s Ajmer for you. We keep our vehicles ready and try to stay on top of the traffic. It isn't always easy moving through these narrow lanes. You learn to be patient when you work this close to the shrine. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the way we do things stays mostly the same. Just showing up and getting the job done day after day. It's a lot of noise and people, but that's what makes this spot what it is.
