Our place is at House No. 239/ 20, right by Diggi Chowk on Station Road. Being near the station means there is always something going on outside. The noise of the trains and the crowds is just part of the background for us at Khas Export. We’ve set up our workspace inside the house, so it feels more like a home than a cold office. It's convenient for us because we can get to the transport hubs quickly. We spend our hours coordinating exports, which means lots of lists and checking containers. The room where we work is often filled with samples and packing materials. It gets a little crowded when a big order comes in, but we make it work somehow. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but Station Road stays as busy as ever. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and see us working. It's honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the paperwork for a container leaving the next morning. It’s just how the export business goes. We know our way around the local logistics, and we’ve built some decent relationships with the drivers over time. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life and we’re used to the rhythm of Diggi Chowk. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing. It’s about getting the cargo out and moving on to the next task.
