Joshi General Store

Being near Pal Beesla Chungi Chowki means there is always something happening outside. It is a busy junction and the noise from the traffic never really stops. The store is where people stop when they are stuck in traffic or just passing through the area. We have the usual things, snacks, pens, household items, and whatever else people ask for. Sometimes a traveler stops in asking for directions while they buy a bottle of water. I have been sitting behind this counter for a long time now. The shelves are made of old wood and they have a few scratches on them. I try to keep things organized but sometimes a delivery comes in and things get messy for a few hours. My neighbors stop by to chat about the news or the weather while they pick up their groceries. It is a small space, so you have to watch where you step when the new stock arrives. We do not have any big signs or bright lights, just the shop name and the door. It is easy to find if you are looking for it. On rainy days, it gets a bit damp inside, but that is just how old buildings are around here. We just keep going, selling what people need and watching the cars go by the chungi all day long. It is just a simple life here at the shop.
