Jai Ambey Provision Store

Jai Ambey Provision Store is located on Sadar Bazar Road in Nasirabad. If you know Nasirabad, you know how busy Sadar Bazar gets, especially on the weekends when everyone is out doing their shopping for the house. We’re right in the middle of all that noise and activity. We sell the basic things—salt, sugar, cooking oil, and different kinds of spices. It’s mostly local families who come in. They’ve been our customers for years, and we know most of them by name. We don't really do any advertising or anything like that. The shop itself is tucked away among the other buildings on the road, so you have to keep an eye out for it. It gets a bit cramped inside when more than three people are standing at the counter, but we manage. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so it gets a bit dark, but we just keep the door open for the light. I spend a lot of my time checking the bags of rice and making sure the jars are filled up. It’s a simple life, honestly. There isn’t much to say other than we’re here every day except for some holidays. Dealing with the wholesalers can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but that’s part of the job. We just try to have what people ask for so they don't have to go to three different places for their groceries.
