J. K. Marbles & Granites

Our yard is over at Plot No.D-42A & 412B on Paryavaran Road. It’s in the Ivth Phase area, so it’s mostly industrial around here. J. K. Marbles & Granites has been operating from this same spot for a good bit of time. We spend most of our mornings unloading trucks that come in from the quarries. It's a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the slabs don't crack. We have a mix of granite and marble sitting out in the sun. Some of it is polished, some is just raw. It gets pretty loud with the cutters going, but we’re used to it. People find us because they’re looking for something specific for their kitchen or floors. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we’re usually out in the yard. If you stop by, you might have to wait a minute while we finish moving a load. We just tell people what’s what. No fancy talk here. The stones are heavy, and the work is dirty, but it feels good to see a nice piece of granite go out to a new home. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been with us since we started. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The address is a bit long to remember, but once you find Paryavaran Road, we’re easy to spot because of all the stone stacked up outside.
