Herbal Nursery

Our place is called Herbal Nursery and you can find us near Madar Gate in the Kalkarda Bhunabai area. It is a bit further out from the main city center which is good for the plants. We have a lot of green things growing here. It isn't a fancy garden center with paved paths. It is more of a working nursery where we grow herbs and small plants in plastic bags and pots. We spend most of our time watering and weeding. The ground is usually a bit muddy because of the hoses. If you come to Madar Gate and head toward Kalkarda Bhunabai, we are easy to spot because of all the greenery. We have different types of local plants that grow well in our soil. We don't use a lot of chemicals. It is mostly just dirt and water and hard work. People come from the city to get plants for their balconies or small gardens. We don't have a salesperson. Usually, it is just me or my brother working in the dirt. We can tell you which plants need more sun and which ones like the shade. The air feels a bit cleaner here than in the middle of town. We've been at this location for years. It's a quiet life at Herbal Nursery. We just keep planting and waiting for things to grow throughout the different seasons of the year.
