Goyal Mishthan Bhandhar is located in Kesarganj. This area has its own feel, a bit different from the main markets but still quite active with people coming and going. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the shop has become a bit of a fixture for the locals. Inside, it’s mostly just the essentials. We have the big pans in the back and the display area at the front. The work is steady. We don't really have office hours in the traditional sense; we are here as long as the work needs doing. Usually, that means being here before the sun is fully up to start the batches. The smell of cardamom and ghee is something you carry home on your clothes every evening. We don't do anything flashy to get people's attention. We figure if the sweets are okay, people will come back. And they do. We see families who have been buying from us for generations. It’s a nice feeling to be part of someone’s celebration, even if it’s just in a small way with a box of sweets. The floor is made of old tiles that have been swept thousands of times. Sometimes we run out of something popular and have to tell people to wait, but they usually don't mind. We aren't trying to be a corporate chain. We are just a local shop in Kesarganj, doing things the way we know how.
