Dasaniya Misthan Bhandar

Dasaniya Misthan Bhandar is our little shop located in Kekri. It’s a quiet town most of the time, and we like it that way. We’ve been making sweets here for a good while, and most people in the area know our name. Our daily routine is pretty much the same every day. We get the milk delivered early, light the stoves, and start the long process of cooking down the ingredients. It’s not a fast job; it takes hours of stirring to get the right consistency. The shop is a simple place with a few glass jars and trays on the shelves. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just focus on the cooking. People come in to chat as much as they do to buy snacks. We hear all the local news and gossip while we’re weighing out the orders. Sometimes we make a mistake and have to start a batch over, but that’s just how it goes when you’re doing things by hand. We aren't looking to become a big chain or anything like that. We just want to keep our spot in Kekri and keep serving the folks we’ve known for years. It’s a lot of standing and a lot of heat from the kitchen, but it’s our life. We take pride in just showing up and doing the work. If you’re ever passing through Kekri, you’ll likely find us here, probably stirring a pot or packing a box for someone. It's what we know.
