Daily Need

Our little shop, Daily Need, is right in Ajay Nagar, specifically in the Chandravardia Nagar 11 section. We call it Daily Need because that is exactly what we handle—the small things people realize they’ve run out of in the middle of the day. We have shelves stocked with soap, shampoo, biscuits, tea leaves, and snacks. It’s a small space, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes. Sometimes the aisles feel a bit narrow, especially when we get a delivery and there are crates sitting on the floor. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We know most of the neighbors by name because they stop in for a loaf of bread or a bottle of soda almost every day. The front of the shop has some glass jars filled with candies and small items for the kids who come by after school. We keep a simple notebook to track what we need to order next. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit and makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We are just a local spot where you can grab what you need without a fuss. We spend the slow hours dusting the jars and rearranging the packets of chips. It’s a steady, quiet life here in Ajay Nagar.
