Chandak Marble Pvt. Ltd. is located out on Harmara Road. We are part of the RIICO Industrial Area in Kishangarh, which is a big hub for this kind of work. If you’ve ever been to Kishangarh, you know how much stone moves through here. Our yard is usually full of slabs and blocks. It’s a noisy area with all the cutting and trucks moving around, but that’s just how an industrial zone is. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good number of years. It’s a practical place, built for heavy work and not for looking pretty. We have our machinery and our stacks of marble, and that’s about it. The guys are usually busy loading or unloading something. Harmara Road stays busy with traffic from all the other marble businesses nearby. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders. Kishangarh is the right place for us because everything we need is right here in the RIICO area. We don't really have a fancy office with air conditioning and soft chairs. It's more of a boots-on-the-ground type of setup. We see a lot of different people coming through, from truck drivers to contractors. It’s a straightforward life here. We focus on the marble and making sure the pieces go where they’re supposed to go. There is always a layer of white dust on everything, which is just part of being on Harmara Road. We don't mind it, though, as it shows we're actually working. We’ve made a lot of friends in the industrial area over the years. It’s a community of people.
