Balaji Kirana Store

Balaji Kirana Store is located at the Ramner Chouraha right on the Ajmer Road in Kishangarh. Being at such a major intersection means we see a lot of things happening. There are always buses and trucks zooming past the front door. We have a good amount of stuff in the shop, like different types of dal, rice, and all the usual household items. The shelves are a bit disorganized because we are always moving things around to make room for new stock. We have a lot of travelers who stop by for a quick bottle of water or some biscuits. The dust from the Ajmer Road is constant, so we are always wiping things down. In the evenings, the chouraha gets really busy and we have to work fast. We have a small television in the corner that we keep on for the news. My family helps out with the work when things get too hectic. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop. People know they can find what they need here. It is a lot of hours on our feet, but we like being in the center of things in Kishangarh. The noise from the traffic becomes like background music after a while.
